A strong, dedicated, conservation - minded membership is paramount to the Trust's present and future open space protection efforts. Funds are needed to meet routine costs such as surveys, title searches, recording fees, printing and postage. The Trustees volunteer their services.

The development of a cash reserve for ongoing land acquisition is a vital need. A generous bequest from the Hacker family in July 2000 provided the Trust with a significant start for our Land Acquisition Fund. Broadening our membership increases our ability to attract grants for land acquisition and stewardship funds.

Membership dues and contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by Federal Law.
